"I had to push my way through branches to get to the banks of the river but it still wasn't the right composition for this scene. I could see a rock in the middle of the river that was almost submerged by the cold water, preparing my camera tripod I carefully jumped over to the rock. I made only a couple of images before my camera battery gave out due to the cold - but it was enough!"
