Golden Tides, Tanilba Bay – Limited Edition Framed Print

Captured at Tanilba Bay in Port Stephens, Golden Tides is a sweeping study of light, space, and atmosphere by Australian landscape photographer Robert Vine. The image unfolds in a wide panoramic embrace, where rippled sand and tidal flats lead the eye toward a horizon bathed in molten gold. Above, the sky ignites with layered clouds, painted in deep amber and copper tones, transforming a quiet shoreline into a moment of cinematic grandeur.

This photograph is not simply a record of place, but an interpretation of mood and memory—where stillness, scale, and light converge. The warm palette and expansive composition invite contemplation, making this work equally at home in refined contemporary interiors or classic, understated spaces.

Each print is produced to museum-quality standards, professionally framed, and released as a limited edition only. Individually numbered and signed by the artist, this piece offers collectors a rare opportunity to own a distinctive work from Robert Vine’s Australian coastal portfolio.

Rob's Thoughts

"Tanilba Bay was a beautiful place to bring up a young family. We had coastal town vibes all year round. One of the most beautiful parts of the bay was the large tidal movement, when the tide was out you could see all the little sand piles from the crabs living under the sand. I soon had a number of locations scoped out and it was just a matter of keeping an eye on the clouds and dashing out when the weather was right for a brilliant sunset like this one."
