Motor Car Falls – Kakadu National Park Landscape Art Print by Robert Vine

Motor Car Falls captures one of Kakadu National Park’s hidden treasures — a place where the ancient sandstone walls glow in the Northern Territory’s tropical light, and a fine white waterfall descends gracefully into a still, dark pool below.

The vivid rust-red cliffs form a natural cathedral, their textures and colours shaped over millennia by the elements. Against this powerful backdrop, the smooth flow of water becomes a symbol of quiet endurance and renewal.

This landscape art print embodies both strength and serenity, inviting the viewer into a moment of reflection within Australia’s vast wilderness. Perfect for collectors of fine art photography or those seeking a statement piece inspired by nature, it brings a warm, grounding energy to any space.

A statement piece for nature-inspired design

• Ideal for collectors of Australian art and photography

Rob's Thoughts

"Nine months prior to making this image I lay in hospital with two broken vertebrae, a broken arm and a dislocated shoulder. In terrible pain and concerned that my seizures were a sign of a terminal condition, hiking Kakadu National Park was a long way off. After a lot of physiotherapy I regained my strength but a 7.5km walk in the wet season was a risk. I was beginning to tire but just as I got to the falls the sky opened up and a rain shower cooled me back off again! Standing in the torrential rain I watched the cliffs around the falls shimmer from the water now coating them. Instead of a swim I got to work capturing this very special scene. I returned to the car exhausted but elated, not only at the magic of Kakadu but at my ability to overcome the obstacles life had placed in my path."
