"I took a chance on a side road and was starting to get worried. The road had turned to dirt and my car was not really made for it! I slowly drove forward, stopping a few times to photograph the scenery. I was happy that I took the risk because the scenes unfolding before me were the perfect statement of the Australian Alps - rolling holls dotted with native trees and areas of bare snow. I really loved the way the clouds interacted with the summits and the ever changing light on the landscape."
