Aurora Over Royalla – Limited Edition Framed Art Print

Few natural spectacles inspire awe quite like the Aurora Australis, and on this unforgettable night, the southern sky above Royalla erupted in brilliant shades of magenta, crimson and violet. Captured by Australian landscape artist Robert Vine, this image records a rare and extraordinary display of the Southern Lights over the rolling hills of the Canberra region.

The vibrant curtains of light dance across a star-filled sky, transforming the familiar rural landscape into something almost otherworldly. While auroras are often associated with Antarctica and the far south, moments like this remind us that nature's most remarkable performances can sometimes appear right on our doorstep.

Printed using archival pigment inks on premium cotton rag paper and presented in a handcrafted frame, this limited edition artwork is designed to preserve the beauty and wonder of this rare celestial event for generations.

A striking statement piece for collectors of landscape photography, astronomy enthusiasts, and anyone captivated by the magic of the night sky.

Rob's Thoughts

"I hadn't seen this notification on my phone before. The Aurora app told me there was a low probability of seeing the Aurora Australis from my home! I gathered up warm clothes and my camera as quickly as I could and walked up the hill behind our house. As my eyes adjusted I could see a faint red glow slowly moving across the horizon. I couldn't believe that I was actually seeing it but the camera certainly did! I had just achieved a bucket list item from my very own backyard!"
